Keyboard hack
From mint media
Soldering dozens of wires onto the back of the old PC keyboard took hours. I also had to do it three times beacuse I twice wired it incorrectly, zapping the keyboard controller. This technique only works for older keyboards that have copper-coated printed circuit boards, not with the modern flexable plastic film types. Each pair of pads from the key was connected to the microswitches mounted on the cabinet.
