A partly completed lino cut.

Type is an essential part of poster design. I'm using the lino-cut technique to make a nice poster print. I made a carbon tracing onto the lino with baselines. I then cut away the ground to leave the glyphs in relief.

A finished lino cut glued to the block. The type must be wrong-reading.

Finished lino print. A bit messy but we like that.

The type is cut out from it's lino sheet and glued to a block. It can then be used for printing.

Ink and pressure and you have a print!
